(Fathers Day)
On Fathers Day June 21st 2009. Jerry was
excavating the nest from one of his largest female tortoises
[Manouria emys phayrei] and much to his amazement he found
lots of eggs! When I says "Lots" I mean like 74 eggs,
that's over 6 dozen! From one female tortoise! It is well
over the average 30 to 35 eggs, and towers over the largest
clutch we can confirm at 51.
Can anyone out there help us to confirm this as a possible World
Record?
